McKennie is set to make his debut for Juventus on Wednesday night in the Coppa Italia against Bologna, and it's been quite a journey for the Norwegian midfielder.
Born in 1998, McKennie started out with hometown club FK Lyn before moving to Norway's Stabæk F.C. where he made his senior debut in 2016. He then moved to English Premier League side Leeds United in 2017, where he made 54 appearances and scored two goals.
In January 2019, McKennie joined Serie A giants Juventus on loan from Leeds until the end of the season. He impressed during his time at Juventus, helping them win the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia double.
McKennie has also been a key player for Norway at international level, earning 22 caps and scoring one goal so far. He was called up to represent Norway at the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship,Saudi Pro League Highlights but unfortunately, they were eliminated in the group stage.
Now, McKennie will be looking to continue his impressive form at Juventus, as he looks to help the team win more trophies this season. He'll be competing with other talented midfielders like Weston McKennie and Mateo Kovacic for playing time, but with his experience and skillset, he should have no trouble fitting into the team.
